	He was born on December 23, 1957 in Sullivan, Indiana the son of John and Sara “Sally” (Bovenschen) Wolfe. Michael was a member of Indian Prairie Baptist Church of Carlisle, Indiana.  
	Survivors include his mother Sara Wolfe of Carlisle, Indiana, father John Wolfe of Emison, Indiana, one son Brandon Wolfe of Carlisle, Indiana, two nephews that he raised; Jason &amp; Scott Racey both of Carlisle, Indiana, two sisters; Mary Lou Wolfe Moore of Indianapolis, Indiana &amp; Doris Elaine Wolfe of Terre Haute, Indiana, brother; David Eugene Wolfe of Bicknell, Indiana and one half-sister Tempera (Chris) Hanes of Vincennes, Indiana, a special friend, Lorrie Racey of Cerlisle, also several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
	Funeral services will be at 2:00PM, Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. Bill Sam Phegley officiating. Interment will follow in Indian Prairie Cemetery in Carlisle, Indiana. Friends may call from 4:00Pm until 8:00PM Monday, May 21, 2012 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home.

She was born on June 15, 1932 in Muncie, Indiana the daughter of Simion Wright. Betty was a member of Full Gospel in Sullivan, Indiana.  

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Simion “Bus” Wright, Jr., and one sister Leona Wright. 

Survivors include one son Ricky (Sandra) Scott of Jasonville, Indiana, three grandchildren; Travis, Trista, and Michael Scott, and two sisters; Mary Scott &amp; Fern Wilson both of Muncie, Indiana.

Graveside services will be at 11:00AM, Friday, May 18, 2012 at Timmons Cemetery located in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. Jerry Bolinger officiating.

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://banksandbrustfh.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/173_121052.jpg" alt="Joe H. Rinehart" />Joe H. Rinehart, 79, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan, Indiana.

He was born on February 24, 1933 in Oaktown, Indiana the son of Talmii and Lottie (White) Rinehart. Joe graduated from Oaktown High School and worked as an operating engineer mechanic local #103 for 33 years. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean War. He was a member of Indianapolis VFW post and Masonic Lodge Mystic Circle #685 of Lawrence, Indiana.  

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Benjamin, Clyde, &amp; Sam Rinehart, and two sisters; Clara Autin &amp; Mary Autin.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years Frances (Crabtree) Rinehart, two sons; Dwayne D. Rinehart of Indianapolis, Indiana and James H. (Judy) Rinehart of Marion, Indiana, three grandchildren; Jillian (Kirk), Mark, and Robin, great-grandchild Aiden James, two brothers; Victor (Helen) Rinehart of New Whiteland, Indiana and Ivan “Rex” Rinehart of Portland, Oregon, two sisters; Iva (Melvin) Anderson of Texarkana, Arkansas and Karen “Sue” Ford of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Funeral services will be at 12:00PM Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home with Bro. JB Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Oaktown Cemetery located in Oaktown, Indiana with military graveside rites by the Sullivan, Hymera, and Shelburn American Legion Posts and Sullivan VFW Post. Friends may call from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, May 18, 2012 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home. A masonic service will be held at 7:00PM of Friday, May 18, 2012.

He was born on October 3, 1928 in Sullivan County, Indiana the son of Laud and Lavera (Wright) Kennedy. William was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War. He worked as a foreman at Herff Jones.  

William is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters; Wynona Sensing and Jean Skinner.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years Sarah (Usrey) Kennedy, son Kirby Kennedy of Indianapolis, Indiana, daughter Kathleen (Gregory) King of New Palestine, Indiana, one grandson William (Candace) Kennedy, two great-grandsons; Caleb and Tyler Kennedy, four sisters; Judy Cliver, Judith (Jake) Bell, Ramona Bonham all of Dugger, Indiana, Phyllis June (James) Horne of Booneville, Indiana.

Funeral services will be at 1:00PM, Friday, May 18, 2012 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Bro. JB Smith officiating. <description><![CDATA[<img src="http://banksandbrustfh.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/173_120228.jpg" alt="Summers Heap" />Summers Heap, age 96 died May 3, 2012 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Sullivan, Indiana. She was born October 10th, 1915 in rural Sullivan County, Indiana. Her parents were Paul Shepherd and Lura Chambers Shepherd. Summers had two brothers; Garland Shepherd and Richard Shepherd. 
	
Following graduation from Farmersburg High School, she received a Teachers’ Degree from Indiana State Teachers College in Terre Haute, Indiana and taught grade school for six years in Sullivan County. On May 18, 1941 Summers married George E. Heap.

Summers was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Sullivan and taught Sunday school for several years. She was a member of the Sullivan Friday Afternoon Club and the Garden Club. Following her marriage and after WWII, she and George called Sullivan their home for the remainder of their lifetimes.

She was predeceased by her husband, parents, both brothers, and granddaughter Stephanie Summers Heap. Survivors include son William George (Sandra Dee) Heap, daughter Ann O’Dell, grandchildren: Colin George Heap and fiancée, Leslie Lual and daughter Ariel; Paul David O’Dell and fiancée Peggy Deemer and her children Brice, Brittany &amp; Dylan; Sara O’Dell (Mike) Wilson and daughter Mara; and, step grandson Scott (Jude) McCord and daughter Harley Marie McCord.

Banks and Brust Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. There will be no visitation. Following cremation a burial ceremony will be held by the family at West Lawn Cemetery located in Farmersburg, Indiana on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 2:00PM with Rev. Paul McGlasson officiating. In lieu of flowers the family would request donations to the First United Presbyterian Church in Sullivan, Sullivan Public Library, or charity of the donor’s choice. An informal remembrance will be held at 4:00PM until 7:00PM on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the First United Presbyterian Church, Sullivan, Indiana.

She was born on March 24, 1926 in Clay County, Indiana the daughter of William O. and Hallie M. (Hochstetler) Bush. Norma was a homemaker. Norma was a member of Harvest Temple Church of God in Sullivan, Indiana.
	
Preceded in death by her parents, husband; Wiley John Galenski who passed away on February 14, 2006, son-in-law; Ronald Boone, four brothers; Ralph Bush, Roy Bush, Jim Bush, and baby brother; Billy Bush, three sisters; Delores, Grace and Joy.
Survivors include three daughters; Linda (Dale) Ashcraft of Terre Haute, Indiana, Judith “Judy” (Marty) Hatfield of Shelburn, Indiana and Sandy Boone of Shelburn, Indiana, four grandchildren; Angela, Natalie, Kelly, and Matthew, four great-grandchildren; Kent, Monica, Tiffani, and Dale Harrison, two sisters; Eileen Dale of Shelburn, Indiana and Annabelle (Walter) Akers of Sullivan, Indiana and one brothers; Ray (Barbara) Bush of Sullivan, Indiana.
	
Funeral services will be at 2:00PM, Friday, May 4, 2012 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Pastor Brian Barrett and Rev. Jim Salyer officiating. Interment will follow in Little Flock located in Shelburn, Indiana. Peggy was born on May 31, 1935 in Sullivan, Indiana the daughter of Archie and Margaret (Curtis) Robinson. She graduated high school and married Donald Ray Shelton. Peggy and Donald owned and operated of Shelton’s Corner Market for 25 years. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Donald Ray Shelton on September 13, 1997 and two brothers; Ronnie Robinson and Jim Robinson.

Survivors include son; Rod Shelton of Shelburn, Indiana, daughter; Nikki Brown of Hymera, Indiana, three granddaughters; Heather Shelton, Holly McCoy and Tiffiany (John) Williams, two great-grandchildren, three brothers; Junior Robinson of Fairbanks, Indiana, Steve Robinson of Fairbanks, Indiana, Terry Robinson of Shelburn, Indiana, two sisters; Kandi (Tony) Miller of Scott City, Indiana, and Sally (Fred) Stranahan of Shelburn, Indiana, one sister-in-law; Shirley Cox of Shelburn, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces &amp; nephews and several great-nieces &amp; nephews

Arrangements were entrusted to Banks and Brust Funeral Home. There will be a private funeral service with Rev. David Cox officiating. Interment will be at Center Ridge Cemetery located in Sullivan, Indiana.

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://banksandbrustfh.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/173_119824.jpg" alt="Oliver L. Newton" />Oliver L. Newton - September 21, 1917 - April 24, 2012

Oliver Leon Newton passed away in Westminster, CA, surrounded by his loving family. He was a special person, who loved and cared deeply for his loved ones. Everyone who came to know him, were drawn to his friendly and good-hearted nature. He was especially devoted to his wife Anne and in taking care of his son John R Newton.  

Oliver was born to Harley B. Newton and Marie Olson on September 21, 1917 in Rosedale, IN. Oliver was known as Bud by family and relatives. Later his wife and coworkers called him Ollie. Oliver married Anna Mae Rogers on March 31, 1945, and remained married to her for 44 years until her passing. He proudly served as a Radio Operator and Mechanic in the 5th Tactical Air Communications Squadron in the United States Army Air Force. After his time in service, Oliver spent his career working for ATT&amp;T, first in Terre Haute, IN, then Cincinatti, OH, and Chicago, IL.

After spending most of his life in the Midwest, Oliver moved to Southern California in 2009, and lived the last three years of his life surrounded by his loving family. Oliver is survived by his son, John Rogers Newton, his daughter, Rehana Marie Wahab (Christina Marie Newton), her husband Abdul Wahab, four grandchildren, Abdul Rahman Wahab, Fatima Wahab, Aisha Wahab, and Asma Wahab, and five great-grandchildren Muhammad, Nura, Abdul Malik, Deen, and Sarah. Oliver was preceded in death by his brothers Oluf and Merle, and sisters Malinda Hamilton, Amy Fenwick, and Ruth Montgomery.

Funeral services for Oliver will take place Saturday, April 28 at 11am at Banks &amp; Brust Funeral Home, 400 North Court Street Sullivan, IN 47882.

She was born on December 8, 1943 in Sullivan, Indiana the daughter of Robert R. and Cora A. (Ransford) Ellis. Kay graduated from Union High School in 1961 in Dugger, Indiana and was a former bookkeeper for Sullivan State Bank. She was a devoted Christian and attended Westside Church of Christ in Sullivan. Kay loved to travel and was one of the founders of Women Aglow in Greene County.  

Kay is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 40 years; Ralph L. Cox who passed away on June 17, 2010, brother; Bill Ellis and one niece; Jessi Gambill.

Survivors include two brothers; Brad (Anne) Ellis of Bloomfield, Indiana and Bruce (Debbie) Ellis of Dugger, Indiana, two sisters; Alice (Dorman) Hardesty of Dugger, Indiana and Reva (Scott) Gambill of Dugger, Indiana, nine nieces &amp; nephews, eighteen great nieces &amp; nephews, and one great-great nephew.

Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana. Interment will follow in Hickory Cemetery located in Dugger, Indiana. Friends may call from 11:00AM until 1:00PM on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home.

Survivors include brother; John Zellars of Sullivan, Indiana, four sisters; Sharon Bass of Sullivan, Indiana, Ruby K. Southwood of Dugger, Indiana, Lisa Ann Zellars of Lyons, Indiana, and Angela D. Camden of Linton, Indiana, and several nieces &amp; nephews.

A special ceremony will be held at Little Flock Cemetery on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 3:00PM with Jeramie Southwood officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Banks and Brust Funeral Home.
